Slack

Bring Falconer into the place your team already talks. With Slack connected, anyone can ask Falcon questions, capture decisions, and turn conversations into living documentation without leaving the workspace.

What’s synced

Slack has no active syncing, and Falconer does not index your message history. Falcon searches public-channel messages across the connected workspace on demand, including older messages and channels it has not joined. Private channels, DMs, and group DMs are not searched. As a limited fallback, Falcon can browse up to 15 recent messages or read a selected thread in a public channel it has joined. Your team can still trigger actions from Slack.

What you can do

• Ask Falcon questions directly in any channel or DM.
• Create docs from a conversation or thread.
• Generate Linear issues from a thread.
• Receive Falconer notifications where your team already works.

Connect Slack

1. Navigate to Integrations from the bottom-left menu.
2. Click Install next to Slack.
3. Authorize Falconer in your Slack workspace.

Installing Slack requires Slack workspace admin permission and owner permission to your Falconer organization.

Search from the web app

Open Personal settings → Connected accounts → Slack and connect your own Slack account. Each user authorizes their own searches in the organization’s connected workspace.

Update permissions or disconnect

If Falcon asks for updated workspace permissions, an organization owner can select Integrations → Slack → Configure → Reconnect and authorize the same workspace. You do not need to disconnect or uninstall first.

Personal settings provides Reconnect and Disconnect for your own Slack account. Disconnecting your personal account stops your web searches without disconnecting Slack for the organization. The Disconnect action on the Integrations page disconnects the workspace for the whole organization.
