Schedule recurring Falcon tasks

Ask Falcon to repeat a task on a schedule, such as preparing a weekly update from your connected sources. Each run takes place in the background and has a result you can review.

  1. In Falconer chat, describe the work, its cadence, a time of day, and the output you want. For example: “Every Monday at 9 a.m., summarize pull requests merged during the previous week and give me a short report with links.”
  2. Specify the sources and scope that matter, such as a repository, project, or channel. Falcon may ask for a missing time or output before scheduling it.
  3. Confirm the schedule Falcon reports. It uses your timezone by default; name a different timezone if you want the task to follow it.
  4. After a run finishes, open its notification or the run in your conversations to review the result.

Open Scheduled tasks on the conversations page to review the next run, edit the schedule, pause or resume it, or open its instructions document. Edit that document to change what Falcon does on future runs. You can also ask Falcon in chat to change or pause a task.

Notifications for completed runs follow your notification preferences. The instructions document is private by default. A paused task does not run until you resume it.
