Track usage and set spending limits

Every member can check their own usage; owners can review organization spending and set limits.

Open Settings → Personal settings → Your usage. Check credits used, remaining allowance or No limit, and the reset date for the selected organization.

Usage resets monthly. Go uses calendar months in UTC; Pro follows the subscription’s monthly anniversary, including when the subscription is billed annually.

As an organization owner:

  1. Open Organization settings → Plan and credits.
  2. Under Monthly spending limit, choose Set a limit.
  3. Enter the number of credits and click Save limit.

Choose No limit and save to remove the cap. A zero limit blocks new platform-paid agent requests. The same limit applies separately to every member, including owners; it is not a total organization budget.

Changes apply immediately to usage already recorded in the current period. Limits do not reserve credits from the shared balance, and work already running may finish above the limit. BYOK requests are exempt from this upfront limit check, although platform operations can still consume shared credits. Raising a limit does not add credits.

Open Organization settings → Activity → Credits to see total and daily spending, and credits by person. Use Usage period to view the current or an earlier period and the person selector to filter the daily chart.

Upgrading to Pro starts a new usage period. Earlier charges remain in their original period. Reports show settled charges; recent work may take a moment to appear.

The Activity tab counts completed work such as requests, saved edits and applied updates. Activity counts are not credit charges; manual document edits are free. Unattributed usage has no individual member and is included in organization totals.

In Plan and credits, click View credit history beside Shared credit balance. Filter by activity type and use Previous or Next to browse charges, credits added, refunds and expiry.

Charges for the same conversation, person and source are combined within each page, with a turn count. Totals include only turns on that page; a conversation may appear on another page. Grants, refunds, expiry and charges without a conversation remain separate.

Billing access does not grant access to private conversations or documents. Restricted or deleted conversations can appear as Unavailable item with their charges still recorded.

  • Limit reached: ask an owner to raise or remove the limit, or wait until the displayed reset date.
  • Shared credits depleted: an owner can buy credits or enable auto reload.
  • Usage failed to load: reload the page, or use Retry if shown.
