We're updating how you pay for usage in Falconer to give your team more flexibility and make pricing easier to understand.

## One balance across paid features

AI features, Knowledge Health, and paid public-docs add-ons will draw from one shared credit balance.
Instead of tracking separate allowances and billing rules, your organization will have one balance for paid usage and a clearer view of spending.
Standard public-docs hosting remains free.

Organizations on the credit system can now access most features previously reserved for Pro, without a Pro subscription.

This makes it easier to see what your plan includes and when you might need more credits.
Manual document editing remains free.

## More flexibility for your team

Some days you need a quick answer.
Other days you're preparing a release or updating a whole set of documents.

In the new system, your team can keep working as long as credits are available, without waiting for a four-hour allowance to reset.
Teammates can draw from the shared balance as needed during a busy week.

We designed this to help teams get more useful work from their plan, especially when their workload varies throughout the month.

## For existing Pro teams

If you're already on Pro, you won't need to change your payment method or set up a new subscription.
Your everyday experience should feel familiar.

Each paid seat will contribute credits to your shared balance each month.
Unused credits carry forward until they expire, giving your team more flexibility to decide when to use them.

If you ever need more capacity, you can add credits or choose automatic reload.
You can also track usage and set optional spending limits for more control.

## How we're rolling it out

New organizations now start on the credit system automatically.
We'll move existing customers to the new system soon, with more details to follow as the rollout progresses.

See our [pricing page](https://falconer.com/pricing) for an overview of the plans.
