# Buy credits and manage auto reload

Add credits to your organization and manage automatic purchases when the shared balance runs low.


Organization owners can buy credits and manage auto reload in **Settings → Organization settings → Plan and credits**. An agent connected over MCP can do the same through the `account` settings scope; see [Settings, account and billing](https://falconer.com/docs/mcp-and-cli/tools-reference.md#settings-account-and-billing). ## Buy credits

1. Click **Buy credits**.
2. Choose a pack and review the price and savings.
3. Optionally turn on **Auto reload** and choose a threshold.
4. Click **Continue to checkout** and complete payment in Stripe.

Applicable tax is added at checkout. Auto reload applies the extra savings shown and authorizes future automatic card charges.

After checkout, wait for payment confirmation and the updated balance in **Plan and credits**. **Recent purchases** shows purchase statuses and paid amounts including tax.

## Enable auto reload without buying credits

1. Beside **Auto reload**, click **Enable**.
2. Choose a pack and set **Reload when balance is below**.
3. Click **Enable auto reload**, or **Continue to Stripe** if card setup is needed.
4. Complete card setup and return to Falconer.

Card setup does not purchase credits. If the balance is below the threshold, Falconer asks you to **Confirm and reload** for an immediate purchase. At or above the threshold, enabling reload does not immediately buy credits.

## Choose a threshold

Auto reload buys the selected pack when the shared balance is **below** the threshold. An equal balance does not trigger a purchase.

The default is 20% of the selected pack:

| Pack | Default threshold |
| --- | --- |
| 1,000 credits | 200 credits |
| 5,000 credits | 1,000 credits |
| 10,000 credits | 2,000 credits |
| 20,000 credits | 4,000 credits |
| 100,000 credits | 20,000 credits |

Custom thresholds must be whole numbers from **100** to **one credit below the pack size**. Changing the pack selects its default threshold. The displayed reload price excludes applicable tax.

## Edit or turn off auto reload

Click **Edit** beside **Auto reload** to change the pack or threshold, then **Save changes**. Confirm an immediate reload if the new threshold is above the balance. Editing is unavailable while an automatic payment is processing.

To stop future reloads, click **Turn off** in the dialog and confirm. The dialog closes and the status becomes **Off**. Click **Enable** to turn it on again. Payments already submitted may still finish.

## Troubleshooting

- **Payment pending:** wait, reload the page or use **Check again** before buying again.
- **Could not open checkout:** retry with the same selection. For a closed checkout, check purchase history before starting another.
- **Wrong organization:** switch to the organization where you started checkout or card setup.
- **Reload paused for a card issue:** click **Edit → Continue to Stripe** to update your card, then finish enabling reload.
- **Reload paused after a refund:** [contact support](mailto:support@falconer.com) to review the refund before re-enabling reload.
- **Settings changed:** close and reopen the dialog to load the latest settings.
- **Payment needs review:** [contact support](mailto:support@falconer.com) before making another payment.

To change reload alerts, open **Personal settings → Notifications → Billing → Automatic reload problems**. Change **Email** and **Inbox** independently, or confirm an unsubscribe using the link in an email.
